Rushab is a lawyer, with his practice centred in Delhi, around the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India. He also appears frequently before the National Company Law & Appellate Tribunals, the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal and the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission. 

 

He began his professional journey in the prestigious Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, which he graduated as a topper of his class. He started his career as a Law Researcher for a sitting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, which augmented him with substantial experience and expertise on the Delhi High Court and courts subordinate thereto. Thereafter, Rushab worked briefly with the Chambers of Mr. A.S. Chandhiok, Senior Advocate, which was an enriching experience in itself, before starting his own law practice.

Rushab has argued cases involving issues of seminal importance and in recognition of his work, he became one of the youngest lawyers to have been appointed Amicus Curiae by a Division Bench of the Delhi High Court in a matter of immense constitutional significance.

He has been involved in advising, rendering written opinions and drafting legislations for the Government of India. He has been appointed as a Counsel for the Delhi Development Authority & the South Delhi Municipal Corporation to represent it before the High Court of Delhi.

 

He writes legal columns regularly for leading newspapers and publications such as Bar & Bench, LiveLaw, The Wire and the Daily Guardian.

Rushab, recently, won the BW Legal Top 30 Under 30 Lawyer Award in India for the year 2021.

​

In May, 2022 Rushab was nominated to the Board of Advisors, Federation of Indian Traders.

​

In October, 2022 Rushab was appointed Standing Counsel for the UT of Jammu & Kashmir before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

In August, 2023 Rushab was conferred the Hon'ble Dr. Justice A.K. Sikri Young Achievers Award by the Capital Foundation Society.
